Sayisi Dene First Nation Relocation Settlement Trust required a website detailing their history and formal government apology for uprooting them from their homeland, Little Duck Lake, Manitoba. The people of Tadoule Lake are Chipewyan and are traditionally referred to as Sayisi Dene or the “People of the east”. In 1956, the people were relocated from their homeland Little Duck Lake to the outskirts of Churchill, Manitoba.

The new website not only showcases their history, but also allows the Directors of the Trust to keep all of it’s members informed of how settlement funds are to be dispersed within the many community initiatives and future community projects.
